Who it's for
Etsy sellers who want their true profit per order and per month, including Offsite Ads orders and the time they spend making things.
The fee rates are filled in for US sellers as checked on 5 October 2026. Sellers elsewhere type their own country's rates on the Settings tab.

The same candle sold twice: 12.31 profit on a normal order, 7.82 on an Offsite Ads order. The pet portrait lost money once the 15% Offsite Ads fee and the time it took were counted. Product cost includes your minutes at your hourly rate.

Questions
Which version of Excel do I need?
Excel 2010 or later on Windows, a current Excel for Mac, or Excel for the web. The workbook uses ordinary functions such as SUMIFS and INDEX/MATCH, and no macros, so nothing is locked to one version.
Does it work on a Mac?
Yes, in Excel for Mac. There are no macros, so nothing in the file is Windows-only. It is also designed to open in Google Sheets in a browser.
Can I use it in Google Sheets?
The workbook is made in Excel and designed to open in Google Sheets: upload it to Drive and open it with Google Sheets. It uses no macros, scripts or add-ons. If something does not work as described there, email hello@goodcolumns.com and we fix it or refund you.
I sell outside the US. Will it work?
The fee rates are filled in for US sellers. Every rate is an editable cell on the Settings tab, so type in your own country's rates. Amounts are in your shop currency.
What if I want a refund?
No change-of-mind refunds on digital files. If a file is faulty or not as described, email hello@goodcolumns.com within 30 days and we fix it or refund you.
Is this tax, legal or financial advice?
No. It works out fees and profit from the rates and figures you enter. Check the current Etsy fee page, and ask a tax professional about your own taxes.
